Dear Diary,

Today we celebrated the 80th birth anniversary of my grandfather. My parents and I decorated the house while my grandfather had gone out for his evening walk, we ordered a beautiful chocolate truffle cake and invited all our friends and family to celebrate this special occasion. He was like a child when he came back and saw this huge party had been organised just for him. I couldn't stop smiling at the child-like enthusiasm of my grandfather who requested that we put on some music so that he could dance on his 80th birthday. He is the living example of man being a child at heart forever. I thought about all the books that he had read to me, the walks we used to take and the special little moments that fill up our lives and it just made me so happy to be a part of his life and celebrate this day with him.
