your school must have various societies for extra-curricular activities like the dramatics society, the quiz club, the economics society, the debating socieety and so on. observe and list the way they have organised their activities using division of labour chain of communication and the levels they have adopted for reporting on work. how far is this similar to the process you have read about ?

The process is organising. 

As There is identification and division of work. They have divided the work into small and manageable activities. I.e Dramatics society,quiz club etc... this reduces duplication of efforts and resources and burden of work is shares.

The next step will be departmentalisation: Grouping  similar activities  into larger groups called departments. This facilitates specialisation. 

Assignment of duties: according to skills of the members 

Establishing reporting relationship: who is to report to whom.
