IN [NiCl​4]     NI IS IN  +2 OXIDATION STATE.  THEREFORE IT HAS 3d8  STRUCTURE
AND HAVING 2 UNPAIRED ELECTRON.

CHLORIDE BEING WEAK FIELD LIGAND CAN'T PAIRED THE TWO UNPAIRED ELECTRON
THEREFRE IT WILL BE sp3 HYBRIDISATION AND TETRAHEDRAL STRUCTURE.

DUE TO 2 UNPAIRED ELECTRONS IT IS HIGH SPIN COMPLEX
