Ozone can not oxidise =

  1. KI
  2. FeSO4
  3. KMnO4
  4. K2MnO4

and why and which and how ????/??///

Dear Student,

Ranjeeta is right. Ozone cannot oxidize KMnO4 as Mn is already in its highest oxidation state and thus cannot be oxidized further.

Thanks!

Ozone cannot oxidise KMnO4 as in KMnO4 , Manganese(Mn) is present in its highest oxidation state i.e. +7 , which can't be further oxidised.

you are wrng , its ans is 2

see...as much I know... Fe is presnt in +2 oxidation state in FeSO4...so undoubtedly it can be oxidised further & tht too by such strong oxidising agent.... only Mn in KMnO4 is ther which is present in itss highest oxidation state... so it can't be further oxidised... so , the ans. shud be KMnO4 only...check ur ans.. it may be wrong alsoo..
