what must we take base for 502 ?

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

We follow these steps to find square of 50  by vedic maths  :

Step 1 : Here we can take 10 or 100 as base as 50 in middle here we solve by using 10 as base .

The deviation to the base = 50 - 10 = 40

Now the Left Hand Side of the answer ( LHS ) will be the sum of the number and deviation. Hence the Left Hand Side of the answer ( LHS ) = 50 + 40 = 90

Step 2 : Our base is 10 which has a single zero. This means that our Right Hand Side of the answer ( RHS ) will have a single digit and that can be obtained by taking the square of the deviation.

Hence the Right Hand Side of the answer ( RHS ) = 402  = 1600

However  the Right Hand Side of the answer (RHS) can have only a single digit because our base 10 has a only single zero. Hence, from the obtained number 1600 we will take R.H.S as 0 and 160 is taken as a carry which we will add to our LHS. Hence LHS becomes 90 + 160 = 250

Hence  502 = 2500
