2 wires of same length and material but of different radii are suspended from rigid support. will stress, strain, extension be same or different? 

The stress depends upon the cross-sectional area of the wire (or the radius) while the strain (depends upon length) does not.

So, the stresses developed would be different but the strains (or extensions) would be same.
