Compound give 2,4,DNP test, so it could be aldehyde or
ketone
Reduces tollem's reagent so it must be an aldehyde
Gives cannizzaro reaction, so there sould be no alpha hydrogen
to the functional group
On oxidation gives 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid
