it is the beam horizontal at one end and loaded at another end since the weight at the other end of an elastic body makes it depressed by some angle with respect to horizontal because the torque due to load acts on it which ultimately make some depressed angle.
Another important thing in this is internal bending moment ==> when external bending couple balanced by another equal and opposite couple created due to elastic nature of body is called internal bending moment.
