​SHM (Simple harmonic motion) is a type of oscillatory motion in which acceleration is directly dependent on the displacement from a mean position, i.e. a = -ω2x
In general, displacement is given as: x = A sin (ωt +φ0)
Here, ω is the angular frequency, A is the maximum displacement (or, amplitude) and φ0 is the initial phase.
