How is williamson's synthesis a continous etherification process ?

Williamson's synthesis is not a continuous etherification process. The reaction involved in Wiiliamson’s synthesis is:

Continuous etherification is a different method for the preparation of ethers in which an alcohol is reacted with conc. H2SO4 to form ether. The reaction involved is as follows:

In this reaction alcohol is taken in excess and ether is distilled as soon as formed.Since, H2SO4 remains undiminished in the reaction flask theoretically, this process is known as continuous etherification process.
