This is because here the bond angle between trans N is not considered as it is comprised of the sum of bond angle between the two cis N. 
i.e. bond angle between N₁-Ni-N_​3 and N₂-Ni-N₄ is not considered as it is the sum of (​N₁-Ni-N_​2 and ​N_2​-Ni-N_​3) and (​ N₂-Ni-N₃ and ​ N₃-Ni-N₄)
