Is -H a +I group or -I group? Why?

H is a electron releasing group and is having +I effect. But it electron releasing nature is very less. The reason is hydrogen is electropositive in nature and able to release its electron. Hydrogen shows electron withdrawing nature also, due to its acceptance of electron and thus its showing - I effect with less power.
