Can you please elaborate why u have taken 2^3*2
  • -5
Well, In set A, the no. of terms are 3. And in the set there are a total of 2 terms.
n(A)=3 (let be p); n(B)=2(let be q);
therefore total number of relations that can be formed are 2p*q => 23*2 => 26 => 64 (not 128)

No. of subsets=2^(No. of elements of A * No. of elements in B)
No. of relation from A to B=No. of subsets of A*B
                                         =2^(3 * 2 )
                                        =64
