on 31st december , 2017, the pass book of a merchant showed a crdit balance of rs 33,570.
1 . the cheques and drafts sent to the bank but bot collected and credited amounted to rs 7900 and three cheques for rs 3000 , rs 1500 and rs 2000 respectively were not presented for payment till 31st january next.
