Please explain with mechanism-

I couldn't found any reaction about what cyclic ester could do on benzene,therefore applying some logics..
AlCl3 is a lewis acid, which could accept lone pair from C=0 part(probably),an then Cycle of ester will break and on benzene it will attach itself as a electrophile at one substituent and that substituent group will have aldehyde/ketone group which could then undergo Wolf Kishner Reduction in presence of Hydrazine and KOH, then further processes will follow..
Hence,answer is (a) .
