Plz provide the answer
dear student ,
In 200 gram of 10% solution
mass of solute = (10/100)*200 = 20 grams
mass of the solvent = 200- 20 = 180 grams
when the solution is cooled concentration becomes 6%
let the mass of precipitated solute be x grams
so mass of solute = (20-x) grams
mass of solvent = 180 grams
mass of solution = 200-x grams
given concentration = 6%
so ((20-x)/(200-x))*100 = 6
2000-100x = 1200-6x
94x = 800
x= 8.5 grams
mass of precipitated solute is 8.5 grams
