Q2. (iii) part a= 256 m/s^2. It asks acc? But which tangential or radial or angular... Pls ans asap. stone - 2. A particle is revolving in a circle of radius Im with an angular speed of 12 rad]s. At = 0, subjected to a constant angular acceleration CI and its angular speed increased to (480170 rotation per minute (rpm) in 2 sec. Particle then continues to move with attained speed. Calculate (i) angular acceleration of the particle, (ii) tangential velocity of the particle as a function oftime. (iii) acceleration of the particle at t = 0.5 second and at t 3 second (iv) angular displacement at t = 3 second.

Dear student, As nothing is mentioned and you are asked to find acceleration for two fixed point of times then you will go for tangential acceleration as at that moment of time tangential component will generally giving rise to it. Regards

When ever not given then its a total acc. Angular + radial
