u r given a thread and a meter scale. how will u estimate the diameter of the thread?

For measurement of any circular body most accurately we use screw gauge and it is not possible to calculate the dimeter or radius of the thread by using the  meter scale , but from meter  scale we can measure the length of  thread.
hence it is not possible to measure the diameter of thread by using the  meter scale.
