What about fac and mer, can they show optical isomerism? Why/why not?

For ML^a₃L^b₃, two isomers are possible - a facial isomer (fac) where the three identical ligands are mutually cis, and a meridional isomer (mer) where the three ligands are coplanar. they show optical isomerism because they rotate plane of polarised light.
