what effcts solubility of gas in water

Solubility of gases in liquids is greatly affected by pressure and temperature. The solubility of gas increase with increase of pressure because number of gaseous particle per unit volume increases as well as rate of reaction also increases. Acc. to Henry's law "at a constant temperature, the amount of a gas that dissolves in a liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid".

Gas solubility in water depends on two factors: temperature and pressure
Solubility of gas in liquid increases with increase in pressure. Solubility of gas in liquid decreases with increase on temperature.
