what happens when we sugarcane is hydrolysed ?

The sugarcane is comprised of lactose, sucrose and maltose with the general disaccharide formula as C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁ and on hydrolysis we get,

$C_{12}{H}_{22}{O}_{11}+H_{2}O\to C_6{H}_{12}{O}_6\left(glu\cos e\right) + C_6{H}_{12}{O}_6\left(fructose\right)$

The hydrolysis of sugarcane results in conversion of disaccharide to monosaccharide for optimal energy conversion, in simple monosaccharide gives instant energy boost.
