what is milch's metal?

Misch metal is an alloy of rare earth elements like cerium, lanthanum, etc. Common composition is approximately 50% cerium and 25 % lanthanum with other traces  of neodymium, praseodymium and other rare earth metals. It is used as flints for cigarette lighters,etc.
