In nitroalkane there is bond between Carbon and Nitrogen while in
alkyl nitrite there is bond between Carbon and Oxygen Their
molecular formula is same They can be represented as nitroalkane,
R-NO2 and alkyl nitrite, R-ON=O For example:
CH3CH2-NO2
CH3CH2-O-N=O
Nitroethane Ethylnitrite
