What is the meaning of this symbol in the following question:- "âˆ"

There are some typing errors in this question.
1) There is no such ( $\hat{a}\hat{}\text{'}$) symbol defined in physics.
2) In second paragraph, it should be 'y' in place of 'x'.
i.e it should be " where y is in meter".
