What is the normality os 2 M H3PO2 solution?
Dear Student,... Normality = molarity × n-factor...... For an acid n-factor is the basicity(no.of displacable OH -ions ) of the acid.and for a base n factor is the acidity . For H3PO3 the basicity is 2 due to two replaceable hydrogen atoms......so its normality=molarity*nfactor =2*2 =4.....Regards
