What is the unit of mole fraction

Dear student,
Mole fraction is equal to the moles of one component divided by the total moles in the solution. Since it is ratio of similar quantities ( i.e., moles) hence it is a pure numerical value and doesn't has any unit.
Mole fraction of any component in a solution is always less than 1.

Mole Fraction (X) is unitless.
Because Ratio between two similar quantities is unitless
