Sedatives and hypnotics is another class.... It's written in drug abuse chapter of biology..... Both the classes are different

Barbiturates is included in both the classes I.e. sedatives and tranquillisers.... But it is a drug and not a class..... The question is about the class.... So the answer is sedatives and not tranquilizers
