why 2-methylpropene is more stable than but-2-ene ?

Because in 2-methylpropene more number of alpha hydrogen is present w.r.t. double bond so, more number of hyperconjugating structure are present in case of 2-methyl propene. As more is the hyperconjugating structure more will be its stability :P
