Why enol content is lesser in CH3COCH2COOC2H5 than CH3COCH2COCH3

Dear student,
Enol formation is possible if there is a hydrogen present on the alpha carbon of carbonyl group so more the no of hydrogen  more will be the enol content.As we can see in both caes CH_{​​​​​3}COCH₂COCH₃ is having more hydrogen on alpha carbon attach to carbonyl group as compare to CH₃COCH₂COOC₂H₅ so enol content is lesser in CH₃COCH₂COOC₂H₅ than CH₃COCH₂COCH_3.
