why water moves from lower OP to higher OP even though lower OP has lower concentraition. and it is said that higher concentration to lower . please explain what i am missing very confused
Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query
Osmotic Potential is the potential of solution that makes water move from low solute concentration (in other words, high water concentration) to high solute concentration (i.e. low water concentration) across a semipermeable membrane.
You can give your definition in terms of solute concentration (movement will be low to high) or in terms of water concentration (movement will be high to low).

Hope this information will clear your doubts about the topic.
