revised ranks for jee main 2015The CBSE announced that it will be publishing a Revised list of Ranks for JEE Main 2015 on July 8, 2015. The ranks will be displayed on the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the link for which is http://jeemain.nic.in

This step has been undertaken to address the problems faced by students of defaulting Boards like that of Telangana, where the Boards failed to send across the Class 12 results data to the CBSE in time for the JEE main rank calculation (which were initially declared on June 30).

When CBSE announced the JEE Main ranks earlier on 30th June, these students were left out of the counselling process for admission to IITs, NITs and other government funded institutes. “However, the board has decided to issue a revised list on July 8, 2015, to safeguard the interests of students, and as requested by the joint seat allocation authorities for admissions,” CBSE said in a statement.

The delay in JEE Main rank declaration will result in further revision of the entire admissions schedule. Keep checking back HERE for all updates.
