In the last topic of the chapter "CELL", the 2nd question of the topic test says that onion peel cells contain chloroplasts. According to other sources, onion peel cells are devoid of any chloroplasts which is logical since the bulb grows under the ground and has no exposure to sunlight and does not perform photosynthesis. Could you please check and confirm which statement may be correct?
