Happy Independence Day! Meritnation Opens Freedom Photography Contest

India is its people, the colours, cultures, its food, touching moments and vast landscapes. It is this diversity and so much more. The independence of India is believed to be one of the most significant things in the history of the country. Leading up to Independence Day, show us what India personifies, through your lens.

On the occasion of 68th Independence Day, Meritnation announces a photography contest celebrating India. The contest invites Meritnation users to participate with photographs taken by them depicting food, beauty and culture of India.

The winning photograph that receives maximum votes takes away a super stylish iPod Shuffle and their names will be mentioned on Meritnation website and our official Facebook page.

Meritnation wants the participants to see this more than just a contest. We want students to see it as a platform to express love and pride for the country through meaningful imagery .

How to submit entries ?

1. Please upload your photographs online on our Facebook Page-  CLICK HERE

2. Please remember that all photos submitted must be in JPEG format.

3. Please include the following details with your photograph:
(a) Full Name
(b) Class
(c) School
(d) City & State of Residence
(e) Contact Details (Mobile & Email ID)

4. You are required to provide a unique title along with #meritnationfreedomcontest  for each image submitted

5. Last date for Submission is  24 – August 2014, 11:59 PM 

6. The contest is open to all Indian nationals only.
