English, the first major paper of the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2020 was held today. The difficulty level of the CBSE Class 12 English Paper 2020 was average.

English is a highly theoretical subject and the exam is often lengthy to attempt. This year too the exam was a little lengthy but, students could finish it comfortably within time.

However, students would be highly relieved and happy because this year’s English paper was not difficult at all.

All the questions were from the syllabus and were as per the CBSE pattern. Sections B and C were a little time consuming than the Reading and Comprehension section (Section A). The unseen passages were not very difficult across all the sets. The literature section comprised mostly of direct questions.

If we compare this year’s paper with that of 2019, we can say that the paper was moderate just like last year’s paper.

Now, coming to the difficulty level of the paper. Out of the 10 questions, 2 questions were easy and 8 questions were of average difficulty. There were no difficult questions.

Students can hope to easily score well in this examination.
