Delhi University Pre-Medical Test (DPMT) is a national level entrance test conducted by Delhi University to select students for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by various medical colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi.

 

BHU All India PMT (BHU-PMT), including screening and main exam, is held annually for admission to UG medical courses of Benares Hindu University like MBBS, BDS, BAMS and B.Pharm. There are 84 seats in MBBS, 38 in BDS and 33 in B.Pharm. The screening test is generally conducted during the month of May.

 

Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) is conducted in the second week of May for admission to various medical, dental, Ayurvedic and homoeopathic colleges in Punjab. The exam is conducted in the second week of May.

 

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted during the first week of May.

 

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences PMT (MGIMS-PMT) is an entrance test for admission to MBBS course in the institute. This exam is conducted in Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi and Hyderabad. In this exam the candidates have to write an essay on Gandhian thoughts in addition to the regular PMT questions. The exam is conducted in the last week of April.

 

Himachal Pradesh Combined PMT (HP-CPMT) is an entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS in the medical and dental institutes of Himachal Pradesh University for both government and private institutes. The exam is conducted during the last week of May.

 

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Medical Entrance Exam is conducted for the admission of students in the MBBS and BDS courses. This exam is held during the last week of May. Seats for Indian Nationals are 145 in MBBS and 35 in BDS, and for NRIs there are 5 seats in MBBS and 5 in BDS.

 

J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination CET (J&K BPEE CET) is conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Government for the admission of students in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in J&K. The candidate must be permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir. The exam is held during the first week of July.

 

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) is conducted for admission to various under-graduate courses in different colleges of West Bengal. 90% of the seats are reserved for West Bengal students and rest 10% seat are reserved for other states students. The exam is generally held in the month of April.

 

MHT-CET is conducted by the Maharashtra Government for admission into various health science degree courses. Candidate with at least 50% aggregate at 10+2 level from the recognized board is eligible to appear in this exam. The exam is conducted in the month of May.

 

Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical Entrance Exam (BVU-CET-Medical) is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS courses in the university. The exam is generally conducted in the month of April.

 

Kerala CEE (KEAM) is conducted by the Government of Kerala for admission of students into various technical and professional courses like Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Engineering, and Architecture Degree courses for several colleges and universities of Kerala. For Medical Entrance Exam there will be two papers: Paper I-Physics and Chemistry and Paper II-Biology and the relative weightage of Biology, Physics and Chemistry is 5:3:2. Each paper will be of two and a half hours duration. The exam is held in the month of April.

 

Rajasthan PMT (RPMT) is the entrance exam for admission into MBBS/BDS/BVSc courses in various institutes of Rajasthan conducted by Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. The Rajasthan candidates are only eligible to give this exam. The exam is generally held during the fourth week of May.
