The National Testing Agency has posted the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 January edition on their official website. The registrations process was supposed to commence on the 2nd, but due to changes in the schedule in the later stages, the same were pushed to the 3rd of September 2019.

This is the first instalment of the exam scheduled for the year, the second instalment of which will be held in April. This change to the pattern of the nation wide exam was made in 2019 as the responsibility to conduct and oversee the exam was handed to the newly formed National Testing Agency. JEE (Main)–April 2019 shall have two papers,Paper-1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B.Arch. /B.Planning).
