The CBSE held the Class 12 English exam on March 1, 2016. The newspapers claimed that it was a good start to the month-long exams. Our experts at Meritnation did an analysis of the English exam and noted that the overall paper was balanced. It offered multiple choice questions and few topics chosen were contemporary. The paper was easy and the pattern was very similar as provided by CBSE.
Reading Section:
The first passage was more liked by students who are from Humanities and Commerce background – Reason being the background was from History
Writing Section:
It was easy and creative but was lengthy when came to putting down on the paper.
Literature Section:
Most of the questions were from in between the chapters of the books prescribed by the NCERT.
